I am Dr. Marty Rozelle, President of The Rozelle Group Ltd. Our mission is to help decision makers and those who have a stake in a decision appreciate each others’ perspectives and to create the best possible solution. For more than 35 years my clients have experienced the satisfaction of a good outcome resulting from thoughtful integration of stakeholder values with the scientific data and technical aspects of a project or public policy question. My formal education includes a Ph.D. in community education from Arizona State University; a MS in public administration from Florida State University; and a BA in political science from East Carolina University. I am also a founder and Past-President of the International Association for Public Participation and a member of the roster for dispute resolution professionals for the U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution.
“I have had the opportunity to watch Marty work for over 30 years. Her most valuable contribution is her ability to design a process — an overall approach — for moving towards a decision. She creates a framework that develops trust by integrating stakeholder values into the decision process. When stakeholders trust the process, they can let go and get creative, allowing possibilities to emerge that may not otherwise have been considered.” Carol Lynn Erwin, Area Manager, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation Phoenix Area Office
